CEM Schools Annual Survey opens today
Each year CEM Head Office surveys Parents, Students and Staff as a meaningful way to engage with our school community and seek to address improvements across all our schools, as well as each individual school.
The survey will be emailed to all families today and closes on Wednesday 9th November. We do appreciate your time and effort in ensuring that your voice is heard not only in areas of improvement, but also areas MCS is doing well and should stay on course.
World Teachers’ Day
Today we would like to acknowledge our wonderful teachers and all they do to love, care for and teach our students.

“I have had children at MCS since 2013. I’ve always known that the teachers are hard working and committed. I have seen that in the ways the teachers have taught and cared for my children over the past 10 years. Since starting work at MCS in April this year, I have come to realise just how hardworking and dedicated our staff are, and it is so much more than I realised.
Not only do they work late or in the school holidays, preparing lessons and resources, marking tests and assessments, and planning all sorts of activities and learning opportunities for our children, they also put a lot of time, effort and heart into caring for each of the students.
The dedication of the staff who gave up their time so our Musical could be such a success, the beautiful thought and care that went into making our Year 12’s Graduation and Formal a special event for them to celebrate and remember, staff giving up their lunch breaks to run different clubs so our children can be a part of something or learn something new, and caring for students and their families who are finding learning hard or experiencing other difficulties and challenges… there are so many things, seen and unseen, that go above and beyond simply teaching our children. As a staff member and parent, it makes my heart happy when I go to the staffroom to make a cup of tea and hear snippets of staff talking about ways to get alongside our students, to help them, encourage them, teach them and see them grow. I can see how our staff genuinely want the best for our students and how hard they work to achieve this. And as a parent, I am grateful.” Therese, Enrolments Registrar
