Primary Bible Verse Song

Our current Primary Bible Verse is Psalm 23 Verses 1-3:

The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters. He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.

The following is a modern day acoustic rendition of David’s Psalm for our enjoyment.

Musical Rehearsals

Some of our Cast Members and Staff are attending and performing at the Junior Theatre Festival at the Civic Theatre Precinct this weekend. They have worked hard in their (only!) 2 rehearsals since auditions to create a presentation that is a credit to their dedication. This is a large-scale event with over 1000 students in attendance from all over Australia and New Zealand. We thank JTF for inviting us and providing a scholarship to be involved in this exciting event.

Medowie's Got Talent Finals

We were blessed to watch an amazing variety of performances across the week, including singers, dancers, drama and cheer teams, magicians, pianists, violinists and cellists, roller-skaters, glow in the dark hula hoopers and skateboarders.

This year we had over fifty audition entries and the twenty that have made it to the Finals have received an invitation. Parents and friends are welcome to attend our MGT Finals performance at 1:40pm on Friday, 3rd November.

In the Spotlight

MCS Secondary Students proudly presents: “In the Spotlight”

In The Lighthouse - Thursday 23rd November - 6:30pm

This evening event will showcase the work of Secondary Creative Arts and Design students. Student artworks and Design and Technology projects will be on display and the evening will feature performances by students from our elective Music and Drama classes, Secondary Medowie’s Got Talent winners, and Secondary Music Ensembles.

We warmly invite family and friends to join us in celebrating the talent and hard work of our students!
