We are very pleased to offer our students a range of music opportunities. Students can choose to participate in Secondary Vocal Ensemble, Primary Choir or attend lessons with private music tutors.

Our Secondary Vocal Ensemble has officially launched and is preparing for our first performance during the Anzac Day ceremony. If your secondary student would like to be involved, rehearsals are on Fridays, Break 2, in the Music Room. It is open to all secondary students. We will be doing a mixture of contemporary and traditional music. Please note that Year 9-12 elective Music students are required to be in one of our ensembles as part of their coursework. Current options include Vocal Ensemble, Mixed Media, String Ensemble and Chapel Band (invitation only).

Primary Choir is currently for students in Years 2-6 and is held in the Music Room on Tuesdays during Break 2. The next intake for Choir will be at the beginning of Term 2. Performance opportunities this semester will include Easter Chapel and Term 2 events.

Instrumental Tutors at MCS

We are pleased to offer private instrumental tutoring at MCS. Lessons are held at school during the day, subject to the teacher's availability. Please contact these tutors directly to arrange private music lessons for your child. Alternately, you may like to fill in this form for a tutor to contact you.
