Book Week is done and dusted for the year. It was the first book week we have had in years, and it was so much fun to see the kids participating in activities, discussing their favourite books and planning their costumes.
Thank you to our amazing primary staff who volunteered their lunch time to read to our students, and to those noble teachers who surrendered their dignity to perform in our reader’s theatre and bring us to hysterics. It was the dedication and enthusiasm of our teachers for their students that made this entire week possible.
Our wonderful visiting author, Anita Forbes, gave each stage of the primary school a singular experience, empowering our students to create, write and express themselves.
Thanks also goes to those amazing parents who organised costumes and supported our book fair. Particular appreciation to those families who chose to donate a book to our growing library collection. Books are always a joy, but sharing books is something truly special.
